The Aeroflex IFR Marconi 2948 Communications Service Monitor features a frequency range of 400KHz to 1.05GHz, a low phase noise signal generator, and a high-stability oscillator as standard. It supports accurate power measurements up to 150W and includes transient and harmonic analysis, a tracking generator with offset tracking, and a full-span spectrum analyzer.
Designed for precision, the 2948 excels at measuring FM receiver noise characteristics, especially in narrow band systems. It offers signal-to-noise measurements exceeding 46 dB at 12.5 kHz spacing.
