The Amplifier Research (AR) 1000T1G2z5 is a broadband traveling wave tube microwave amplifier offering a guaranteed minimum of 1000 W output across 1–2.5 GHz, with 60 dB minimum gain and at least 35 dB continuous gain adjustment. It includes a front-panel digital display, IEEE-488 (GPIB) interface, VSWR protection, gain control, and detailed system status reporting.
Its modular power supply and RF architecture, featuring a lightweight switching-mode design, enable easy servicing and reduced weight. The amplifier faithfully reproduces AM, FM, and pulse modulation and is ideal for EMC testing, industrial research, university R&D, and general test-and-measurement applications.
