The Amplifier Research 10S1G4A is a solid-state, self-contained, air-cooled broadband amplifier boasting an instantaneous 0.8–4.2 GHz frequency range. It achieves nominal output powers of 18 W at 3 dB compression and 16 W at 1 dB compression, with a minimum of 13 W and 10 W respectively, paired with a ≥40 dB gain and ±2 dB flatness. Equipped with front-panel gain control and remote interfaces (IEEE‑488/GPIB and RS‑232), it also safeguards operation via RF input leveling and over-temperature protection mechanisms.

Thanks to its low spurious emissions, excellent linearity, and faithful reproduction of AM, FM, and pulse modulation, the 10S1G4A excels as a driver amplifier for wireless component testing (e.g., CDMA, W‑CDMA, TDMA, GSM), multi‑band communication systems, and EMC test setups needing undistorted modulation envelopes.

Testwall can supply the used Amplifier Research 10S1G4A, fully tested.
