The Amplifier Research 175S1G4 is a portable, air-cooled, broadband, solid-state amplifier delivering a minimum of 175 watts of RF power across 0.8–4.2 GHz. It uses push-pull circuitry to reduce distortion and enhance stability, features a digital control panel with softkeys and a rotary knob, and offers local and remote control via GPIB/IEEE-488, RS-232 (hard-wire and fiber-optic), USB, and Ethernet, with keylock protection and detailed forward/reflected power monitoring.
