The Amplifier Research 250W1000A is a portable, self-contained, air-cooled, solid-state broadband amplifier delivering 250 watts of RF power. It features push-pull circuitry for reduced distortion, a Digital Control Panel with softkeys, rotary knob, and dedicated switches for precise operation. It provides forward/reflected power monitoring, ALC control, RF output protection, and remote control via GPIB/IEEE-488 and RS-232 interfaces.
Ideal for RF susceptibility testing, antenna and component testing, watt meter calibration, and driving frequency multipliers or higher power amplifiers. It includes safety interlock, pulse input capability, and internal RF detection for operational reliability.
