The Anritsu MP1656A is designed for use with the MP1550A/B PDH/SDH Analyzer, enabling analysis of section, H-path (AU), L-path (TU), PDH, and STM-16 layers. It offers DFB-LD 1.31/1.55 μm switchable output (Option 02), high-sensitivity optical input (–29 dBm), add/drop mode with MP1550A/B, and standalone operation for regenerator section tests. The MP1656A also supports section trace (J0), G.826 performance monitoring (B1), and includes a built-in floppy disk drive.
Compact, lightweight, and low-cost, the MP1656A enhances the MP1550A/B by providing STM-16 capability. Its intuitive controls, consistent with the MP1550A/B, ensure ease of use and versatile testing functionality.

Returned items should be unused and must be returned in original packaging with any enclosed documentation. We will issue a full refund on receipt, excluding the original delivery charge. Alternatively, if preferred, we will exchange the item.
