AVTRON K490 Portable Load Bank
The Avtron K490 load bank is contained in a small enclosure, yet provides up to 10kW loading capacity at 120 or 240 VAC, single phase. The Avtron K490 resistive load bank is used for testing small generator sets, UPS units, and for production line testing and by field service personnel. It is simple to use and does not require tools. Electrical connections are made on the front of the unit using hand-tightened terminals. Connecting a handheld multimeter allows voltage, current, or frequency monitoring.
Designed and manufactured to ensure years of reliable operation, the elements chosen for the Avtron K490 load bank will operate at only 1/3 (or less) of their maximum temperature rating eliminating the need for a €œcool down " period after operation. The Avtron K490 AC load bank has a capacity up to 10kW and load step resolution in 0.25kW, 0.5kW or 1kW increments. With logically arranged controls, this portable resistive load bank is intended to be an essential piece of test equipment used by field service personnel. Returned items should be unused and must be returned in original packaging with any enclosed documentation. We will issue a full refund on receipt, excluding the original delivery charge. Alternatively, if preferred, we will exchange the item.
