 California Instruments MX45-3PI AC Power Source      As governments are moving to enforce product quality standards, regulatory compliance testing is becoming a requirement for a growing number of manufacturers. The California Instruments MX45 power source is designed to meet AC source requirements for use in compliance testing such as IEC 61000, 3-2, 3-3, 3-11, and 3-12. The MX45-3PI controller has a powerful AC and DC transient generation system that allows complex sequences of voltage, frequency and waveshapes to be generated. When combined with the multiphase arbitrary waveform capabilities, the AC and DC output possibilities are truly exceptional.    This high power AC and DC test system covers a wide spectrum of AC and DC power applications. The MX45 delivers up to 45 kVA and operates using single or three phase output in AC or AC+DC mode. In DC mode, 50% of the AC power level is available. The MX45-3PI amplifier is designed to reverse the phase relationship between the AC input voltage and cur in order to feed power back onto the utility grid.
