The MP1825B is a 4-tap digital pre-emphasis converter for bit rates up to 32.1 Gbit/s, with adjustable amplitude, offset and per-tap levels for evaluating high-speed interfaces. It is jitter transparent for jitter tolerance testing and uses a compact remote head to minimise cable loss and ISI.
Used as a front head with a pulse pattern generator, typically the MP1800A series (connected via USB); bit-rate range and data delay are option-selected.
