The MU181500B is a jitter modulation source plug-in that adds sinusoidal, random and bounded uncorrelated jitter plus SSC to an incoming clock for receiver jitter tolerance testing. Intrinsic jitter is 350 fs or less and SJ can be set up to 40 UIp-p at low modulation frequencies.
Used in the MP1800A and MP1900A, typically with the MU181000B synthesiser; with MX181500A software it supports automated jitter tolerance tests up to 64.2 Gbit/s, including built-in 200G/400G masks.
