The Audio Precision  SIA-2322 Serial Interface Adapter provides a means of interfacing the digital domain members of the System Two family of audio analyzers to a variety of data acquisition, reconstruction and communication hardware that utilize a serial bus for the exchange of data..

Features and Specifications of the AP SIA-2322 Adapter include:

• Serial word length support of 8 to 32 bits, one or two channels (time multiplexed);
• Analyzer data word length support of 8 to 24 bits, with optional 0 or 1 padding, LSB or MSB extension;
• Left- or right-justified data within the serial data frame;
• Data transmission and reception independently selectable as LSB- or MSB-first;
• Independently selectable word clock transition timing within the data frame, with bit-wide and word-wide clock widths;
• Independently selectable bit and word clock sources (internal or external);
• TTL and CMOS logic level support on all inputs and outputs;
• Logic polarity control of data, word clocks and bit clocks.
