The BA-4000 is an electrical bit error rate tester supporting NRZ and PAM4 for 100G, 400G and 800G (8 x 56 GBd) testing. The 8-56-PAM version provides eight lanes at 24.8832 to 59.375 GBaud with PRBS and SSPRQ patterns, a channel simulator, error injection and BER monitoring.
Available in 4- or 8-channel versions at 28 GBd NRZ, 28 GBd NRZ/PAM4 or 56 GBd NRZ/PAM4; optional FEC simulator and FEC pattern generator/checker software support pre/post-FEC BER and KP4/KR4 analysis. Used for transceiver, cable, optical component/PIC and high-speed IC test.
