   The  Fujikura  90S Core Alignment Fusion Splicer is a high precision core alignment fusion splicer designed to excel in field applications.  The 90S fusion splicer has high precision lenses which provide accurate core to core alignment regardless of core-cladding concentricity error. Also, the lenses allow the splicer to discriminate between fiber types.  The 90S fusion splicer automatically identifies the optimum arc discharge parameters in accordance with the fiber type.  The 90S possesses advanced image processing technology which analyzes the profile of the fiber image as a brightness pattern. The 90S finds the true core position and achieves the consistent lower splice loss.

   Fujikura 90S Core Alignment Fusion Splicer boasts faster splicing through a combination of factors including quicker automated processes like wind protector & heaters, redesigned internal structure for efficient sleeve positioning, and improved fiber retention clamps.  Fujikura 90S  features 'Active Blade Management Technology' which means that the cleaver blade is automatically rotated when the splicer judges that the blade is worn.  Fujikura  90S Core Alignment Fusion Splicer can handle a wide range of fiber types, including bend-insensitive fibers in drop cables, long-haul terrestrial and submarine fibers, loose buffer fibers, and splice-on connectors.
