The  Hipotronics 880PL 80kV HiPot Test Set  is an smart  solution to DC field testing of cables, terminations, motors, generators and other electrical apparatus.  Outfitted with a state-of-the-art digital interface and extensive safety features, the 880PL-DC ensures simplistic operation, accurate results, and operator safety under all circumstances. The 880PL features the most accurate kilovoltmeter readings regardless of load current. Voltage measurements are taken directly at the output of the high voltage transformer, while cur is measured at the return leg to ensure the highest accuracy. Output power is created through a full-wave, voltage multiplier.

Hipotronics 880PL 80kV HiPot Test Set  includes interlocks, emergency stop buttons, and ground fault protection to ensure operator safety during high voltage testing. It provides accurate measurements of  output voltage, leakage current, insulation resistance (IR), and polarization index (PI). It can record test results and data can be transferred to a computer via USB for further analysis and reporting. 880PL allows users to customize various test parameters such as target voltage, maximum leakage, ramp rate, and dwell time to tailor the test to specific equipment requirements.  880PL can be used in both field and laboratory environments for it's lightweight and rugged design.
