The N4877A is a clock data recovery unit with built-in 1:2 demultiplexer, operating from 50 Mb/s to 32 Gb/s. It offers tunable loop bandwidth up to 20 MHz with selectable peaking, high input sensitivity and clock outputs with residual jitter as low as 100 fs rms.
Complements J-BERT and ParBERT receiver test setups between 12.5 and 28.4 Gb/s and is the counterpart to the N4876A multiplexer; a 16G version operates up to 16.5 Gb/s. Controlled via a GUI over USB.
