The Rosenberger ALPHA is a portable broadband PIM site analyser. It uses one broadband master unit (700 to 2700 MHz) with field-interchangeable, band-specific filter units, and needs no recalibration of filter, adaptors or test cable when you change bands. It performs stressed CW PIM testing to IEC 62037-1, with residual PIM below -125 dBm and PIM distance-to-fault better than 0.3 m.
It also measures VSWR/return loss and antenna isolation, includes a spectrum analyser and a 12 in touchscreen, and runs from battery or external power with Wi-Fi remote control from an optional Android tablet. Filter units are available for 700, 800, 900, 1800, 1900, 2100 and 2600 MHz bands.
