The BSA12500A is a 12.5 Gb/s BERTScope from SyntheSys Research (acquired by Tektronix), combining a pattern generator and error detector with eye diagram, BER contour and jitter analysis. It covers 0.1 to 12.5 Gb/s and offers a Compliance Contour view that compares compliance masks against measured BER contours.
Commonly configured with Physical Layer (PL), Error Correction Coding (ECC), Error Mapping (MAP), Live Data Analysis (LDA) and Stressed Eye (SE) options; used for receiver compliance testing and physical-layer analysis of serial links such as OIF CEI and XFP/XFI.
