The MP1900A Signal Quality Analyzer-R is an 8-slot modular bit error rate tester mainframe for physical-layer testing of high-speed network interfaces (NRZ and PAM4) and serial buses such as PCI Express, USB and Thunderbolt. Measurement capability is provided by plug-in pulse pattern generator, error detector, synthesiser, jitter and noise modules, with up to 512 Gbit/s total capacity in one mainframe.
Accepts MU196020A/MU196040B PAM4 PPG/ED, MU195020A/MU195040A 32G SI PPG/ED, MU195050A noise generator, MU181000B synthesiser and MU181500B jitter source modules; MX183000A software adds PCIe/USB link training and jitter tolerance testing. Typical applications are 100G-800G Ethernet, PCIe Gen 1-6 and USB receiver/transmitter compliance.
