The Kaelus iPA-0790A is a battery-powered, IEC-compliant passive intermodulation (PIM) analyser for the 800 MHz (LTE800) band, rated at 2 x 20 W. It is built for tower-top, tower-base, rooftop and in-building DAS testing, with local touch-screen control or remote control from any Wi-Fi device. It measures reverse (reflected) 3rd and 5th order PIM and shuts down automatically on high return loss.
Operating modes include spectrum monitor, PIM-versus-frequency sweep and PIM-versus-time trace, with on-instrument reporting. It is compatible with the optional Kaelus RTF Range to Fault module for locating PIM and return loss faults.
