The Kaelus iPA-1800A is a battery-powered, IEC-compliant passive intermodulation (PIM) analyser for the DCS1800 band, rated at 2 x 20 W. It is built for tower-top, tower-base, rooftop and in-building DAS testing, with local touch-screen control or remote control from a Wi-Fi tablet, phone or laptop. It measures reverse (reflected) 3rd and 5th order PIM.
Operating modes include spectrum monitor, PIM-versus-frequency sweep and PIM-versus-time trace, with on-instrument reporting. It is compatible with the optional RTF-2000 Range to Fault module.
