The Kaelus iPA-2100A is a battery-powered, IEC-compliant passive intermodulation (PIM) analyser for the UMTS 2100 band, rated at 2 x 20 W. It is built for tower-top, tower-base, rooftop and in-building DAS testing, with local touch-screen control or remote control from a Wi-Fi device. Unlike most iPA models it measures reverse PIM at 3rd, 5th and 7th order, covering two receive bands.
Operating modes include spectrum monitor, PIM-versus-frequency sweep and PIM-versus-time trace, with on-site report generation. It is compatible with the optional RTF-2000 Range to Fault module for distance to PIM and return loss.
