The 70841B is a 70000-series MMS plug-in pattern generator module generating serial PRBS and user patterns from 100 Mb/s to 3 Gb/s, driven by an external 3 GHz clock source. It pairs with the 70842B error detector in the 71603B error performance analyser and 71604B pattern generator systems.
Options include a 1.5 Gb/s version, jitter modulation capability and extension of the lower frequency limit to 50 MHz.
