The Viavi CellAdvisor 5G (CA5000) is a field-portable base station analyser for deploying and validating 5G radio access networks. It provides real-time spectrum and interference analysis for 5G FR1 and FR2, a 5G carrier scanner, beam analyser and route mapping, plus fibre, coax and CPRI testing. The base unit includes a spectrum analyser and RF power meter and requires one internal hardware (frequency) option.
Hardware options set the range: F001 (9 kHz to 6 GHz), F002 (adds 24 to 40 GHz), F018 (9 kHz to 18.5 GHz), F030/F044 (to 30/44 GHz, two ports), with optic-hardware variants; cable and antenna analysis to 6 GHz requires the CAA06M module. Applications include 5G/O-RAN commissioning, massive MIMO beam validation, PIM detection and interference hunting over CPRI.
