The Wavecontrol WaveMon RF-40 is a wearable personal RF monitor covering 1 MHz to 40 GHz, extending the WaveMon platform to 5G and millimetre-wave sites. It warns the wearer visually (6 LEDs), acoustically and by vibration at two user-adjustable limits, and logs exposure history. Response-shaped versions are offered for ICNIRP, FCC, EU Directive 2013/35/EU, Safety Code 6 and NATO.
The data logger holds over 1,000,000 events with 1 s to 60 min logging and averaging intervals, downloaded over a waterproof USB port that also charges the two AA NiMH cells. Fall detection is standard, GPS and altimeter are optional, and accredited calibration is available.
