The N1076A is an electrical clock recovery instrument for NRZ and PAM4 signals from 50 MBaud to 32 GBaud continuous. It provides standards-compliant 'golden PLL' clock recovery with adjustable loop bandwidth up to 20 MHz and peaking.
Used to provide recovered clocks for sampling oscilloscopes and BERTs (e.g. M8040A controls N1076A/B CRUs) in transmitter and receiver test; optional jitter spectrum analysis (JSA).
