The Keysight N9917D is an 18 GHz FieldFox D-series handheld combination analyser (successor to the N9917A/B) for cable and antenna testing, spectrum monitoring, signal analysis and interference hunting. CAT/VNA coverage is 30 kHz to 18 GHz and spectrum analysis 9 kHz to 18 GHz, with up to 120 MHz gap-free real-time bandwidth and IQ streaming. The sealed chassis meets MIL-PRF-28800F Class 2 and is type-tested to MIL-STD-810G Method 511.5.
The base unit is a cable and antenna analyser (DTF, return loss, 1-port cable loss); spectrum analysis requires Option 233 and 2-port insertion loss/phase requires Option 210. Further licences add VNA, RTSA, IQ streaming, pulse generation, noise figure, EMF/EMI, OTA LTE/5G NR and direction finding.
