The Keithley 3706A-S System Switch / Multimeter is a six slot system switch mainframe. This mainframe contains six slots for plug-in cards in a compact 2U high (3.5inche/89mm) enclosure that easily accommodates the needs of medium to high channel count applications. When fully loaded, a mainframe can support up to 576 two-wire multiplexer channels or 2,688 one-pole matrix crosspoints for unrivalled density and economical per channel costs. The Keithley 3706A-S System Switch / Multimeter offers high measurement accuracy with a resolution of up to 7 ½ digits, making it suitable for demanding measurement applications. It also provides fast data acquisition rates, enabling efficient capturing of dynamic signals and reducing test times. The instrument provides various connectivity options and remote PC control via USB, Ethernet, and GPIB (General Purpose Interface Bus). In addition to its data acquisition and switching capabilities, Keithley 3706A-S incorporates a digital multimeter (DMM) function. This allows users to perform direct measurements on a specific channel without the need for switching, further enhancing its versatility.
