The Keysight 11970Q (Agilent) waveguide mixer is a general purpose harmonic mixer employing a dual-diode design to achieve flat-frequency response and low conversion loss. These features are achieved without external dc bias or tuning stubs. Manual operation and computer controlled hardware operation are simplified because mixer bias and tuning adjustment are not required. The HP 11970Q extends the frequency range of the Keysight E4440A (Agilent), E4446A and E4448A PSA Series high-performance spectrum analyzers, the Keysight E4407B (Agilent) ESA-E Series portable spectrum analyzer, the Agilent 8560E and 8560EC Series portable spectrum analyzers, the Keysight 8566B Agilent spectrum analyzer (used with the Agilent 11975A amplifier), and the Keysight 70000 (Agilent) modular measurement system (used with the Keysight 70907A/B (Agilent) external mixer interface modules).
