The Keysight (Agilent) 3788A is a compact bit-error-rate test set for CEPT-standard digital transmission systems. It supports unframed pattern testing at 2048, 704, and 64 kb/s, performing binary and code error measurements. Integrated G.821 analysis offers maximum and average error rate calculations, including ES, SES, DM, US, and ALMS, with simultaneous multi-parameter monitoring.
This unit is ideal for fast circuit testing and long-term quality monitoring of lines and multiplexers, featuring selectable threshold analysis, internal result storage, and RS-232-C printer logging.
