The Keysight (Agilent) 4940A Transmission Impairment Measuring Set offers comprehensive testing for telephone circuits, supporting analog voice and data channels. It measures loss, gain and phase hits, jitter, noise, frequency shifts, and various distortions. It includes a self-check feature and operates from 105 to 129 VAC at 60 Hz. Transmitter range is 200 Hz to 3904 Hz, and receiver range is 200 Hz to 4100 Hz, both with 1 Hz resolution.
With impedance options of 600/900 Ohms and level ranges from +10 dBm to -40 dBm, the 4940A meets North American standards. It includes C-message, 3 kHz flat, and notch filters.
