The Keysight (Agilent) 53131A Universal Counter is engineered for precise frequency and timing measurements in manufacturing, service, and troubleshooting environments. It features two standard 225 MHz input channels, with optional third-channel support up to 12.4 GHz (Options 030, 050, 124). With 10-digit/s frequency resolution and 500 ps time interval resolution, it offers extensive analysis capabilities including automatic limit testing, analog display mode, and single-button recall. The compact half-rack form factor suits both benchtop and rackmount use. Connectivity includes GPIB and IntuiLink software, supporting data rates up to 200 measurements per second.
Optional upgrades include enhanced timebases (Options 001, 010), rear panel channel relocation (060–062), DC power input (002), and various high-frequency connector types.
