The Keysight (Agilent) 8116A Pulse / Function Generator combines pulse and function generation capabilities in a compact, fully programmable unit. It supports frequencies from 1 mHz to 50 MHz across all waveforms, including sine, square, triangle, DC, and haverfunctions, with variable pulse widths starting at 10 ns and transition times as fast as 6 ns. Its output amplitude reaches up to 7.95 V, and it features comprehensive modulation and operating modes for high flexibility.
Designed for advanced signal synthesis, the 8116A includes self-prompting operation, built-in error recognition, and a self-test function. The auto-vernier mode enables continuous parameter adjustment until halted, and an integrated safety limiter prevents output magnitude from exceeding preset levels.
