The Keysight (Agilent) 81250 ParBERT is a high-performance BER measurement system supporting data generation and analysis from 38 to 45 Gb/s for OC-768 MUX/DeMUX and serial applications. It handles 16:1 and 4:1 multiplexing and demultiplexing, with parallel data up to 10.8 Gb/s and PRWS/PRBS generation up to 2^31-1. The system includes sub-rate clock outputs and CDR support in the 45 Gb/s DeMUX module, all controlled through VXI-based hardware and Windows 2000/NT software.
It integrates seamlessly with development tools such as Agilent VEE, LabVIEW, Excel, and C/C++, offering programmable control and advanced testing for optical and electrical signals. External clock input support up to 21.6 GHz enables compliance and signal integrity testing with precision.
