The Keysight (Agilent) 81553SM Laser Source Module operates at a fixed wavelength of 1550 nm and integrates with the 8153A Lightwave Multimeter. It utilizes a Fabry-Perot laser and supports a singlemode 9/125 µm fiber output. Designed for high short- and long-term optical stability, the unit is delivered with a proprietary form factor and interface. A connector interface (81000xI) is required for operation and must be ordered separately.
Ideal for precision optical testing, this module ensures consistent power output of up to 0.001 Watts and facilitates advanced optical communication research. It is not UL compliant and does not require input power.
