The Keysight Technologies 81626B Optical Power Head delivers precise optical power measurements from –70 to +27 dBm, featuring a 5 mm large-area detector for improved repeatability and reduced alignment sensitivity. It supports averaging times from 100 µs to 10 s, auto power ranging, min/max monitoring, and logging up to 20,000 samples. The head is compatible with magnetic D-shaped fiber adapters and includes the removable 81624DD ring for threaded adapters. Connection is via the 81618A (single-channel) or 81619A (dual-channel) interface modules to the 816x mainframes.
Engineered for high-accuracy optical test setups, the 81626B minimizes PDL and spectral ripple uncertainties (±0.002 dB typical) and offers optional ±2.5% absolute uncertainty calibration, ideal for high-power and linearity-sensitive measurements.
