The Keysight (Agilent) 81657A is a dual-wavelength Fabry-Perot laser source module ideal for testing broadband components and fibers. It operates at 1310 nm and 1550 nm with up to +13 dBm (20 mW) output power and CW power stability of ±0.03 dB over 24 hours. It is designed to be used with optical power meter modules for insertion loss, ORL, and PDL measurements, and is resistant to back reflections for reliable results.
Output power is attenuable, supporting both single- and dual-wavelength modes for flexible testing setups across various telecom applications.
