The Keysight (Agilent) 81663A Distributed Feedback Laser Source offers +13 dBm optical output power, ±0.002 nm wavelength stability, ±850 pm fine-tuning range, and 0.003 dB power stability. It includes digital modulation, coherence control, and a built-in isolator for enhanced performance in amplifier and WDM system testing.
Ideal for dense WDM and EDFA noise figure tests, this unit allows wavelength shifting between adjacent DWDM channels and controls linewidth to mitigate Brillouin scattering and cavity effects.
