The Keysight (Agilent) 8166B Lightwave Multichannel System is a compact, modular mainframe that supports up to 17 slots for hosting 816xxx series modules including power meters, return loss modules, and tunable or fixed laser sources. It features an extended trigger and clocking system, a graphical control interface, GPIB and serial/parallel ports, and easy firmware upgrades with a high-level API.
It is ideal for synchronized parallel testing of multiport optical components, making it suitable for benchtop or rack-mounted applications in complex optical setups.
