The Keysight (Agilent) 8449A Preamplifier is a high-performance, low-noise amplifier designed for use between a signal source and a spectrum analyzer's RF input. Operating across 2.0 to 22.0 GHz, it offers a high gain of ≥23 dB and low noise to enhance signal detection. With SMA connectors, ±20V DC input, and a robust design tested per MIL-T-28800C standards, it ensures precise, reliable performance under demanding conditions.
Ideal for detecting low-level signals, the 8449A improves system noise figures and offers excellent reverse isolation >75 dB. Compact and rack-mountable for easy integration into ATE systems.
