The Keysight (Agilent) 8449B Microwave Preamplifier enhances sensitivity for RF/microwave spectrum analyzers with a frequency range of 1 to 26.5 GHz and minimum gain of 23.5 dB. It features low noise figures—8.5 dB (1–12.5 GHz), 12.5 dB (12.5–22 GHz), and 14.5 dB (22–26.5 GHz)—making it ideal for detecting weak signals in radiated emissions and MIL-STD measurements. Gain flatness is ±4.5 dB across the full band and ±3.5 dB from 2 to 22 GHz. It uses a 3.5 mm male ACP connector for secure RF interfacing.
