The Keysight (Agilent) 8494G is a high-performance programmable step attenuator covering DC to 4 GHz with 1 dB steps from 0 to 11 dB. Designed for durability and repeatability, it features precision gold-plated leaf springs for over 5 million cycles and typical repeatability of 0.01 dB. With a maximum switching time of 20 ms, it supports fast, automated test setups. Insertion loss is just 0.6 dB + 0.09 dB/GHz at 0 dB, and the unit achieves a maximum SWR of 1.5.
The attenuator handles up to 1 W average and 100 W peak RF input power. Available connector options include Type-N, SMA, or APC-7, with 12-pin Viking or optional 14-pin DIP programming interfaces.
