The Keysight (Agilent) 8495H is a programmable step attenuator offering 0 to 70 dB attenuation in 10 dB steps over a DC to 18 GHz frequency range. It features gold-plated leaf springs for exceptional repeatability (0.01 dB typ., max 0.03 dB) and long life exceeding 5 million cycles per section. With a fast 20 ms switching time and low insertion loss (0.4 dB + 0.07 dB/GHz at 0 dB), it's ideal for automated test environments. SWR is as low as 1.35 up to 8 GHz, and the unit supports up to 1 W average/100 W peak power. Connector options include type-N, SMA, or APC-7, with programmable control via 12-pin Viking or optional 14-pin DIP.
