The Keysight (Agilent) 8601A Signal Generator/Sweeper operates from 100 kHz to 110 MHz with output ranging from +20 dBm to -110 dBm. It integrates an internal 1 kHz modulation suitable for AM and FM, and supports sweep ranges of 100 kHz–11 MHz and 1 MHz–110 MHz. This makes it ideal for evaluating filters, antennas, crystals, and similar components.

Its ramp output enables frequency response and VSWR testing via an oscilloscope, making it perfect for aligning AM and FM receivers and precision testing tasks.
