The Keysight (Agilent) 8709A Synchronizer is a solid-state phase comparator used to stabilize hp BWO microwave sources via phase-locking circuits and stable reference oscillators.
It interfaces with sweep oscillators and reference units like the hp 8690, 8464, or 8466, using frequency mixing to generate a phase-locked dc output.
