The Keysight (Agilent) 8904A Multifunction Synthesized Generator delivers precision waveform generation with sine output from 0 Hz to 600 kHz and 0.1 Hz resolution. It also generates square, triangle, and ramp waveforms up to 50 kHz and includes DC output. Built on 12-bit direct digital synthesis, the 8904A supports advanced modulation formats—AM, FM, Phi-M, DSBSC, and pulse modulation—and offers up to four internal channels for flexible signal combinations.
Operational modes include tone, DTMF, digital patterns, and Hop RAM sequencing. Configurations support one or two outputs with optional unit-to-unit phase synchronization, making it ideal for audio, telecom, and control system testing.
