The Keysight (Agilent) 8991A Peak Power Analyzer delivers precise characterization of complex pulsed RF signals with integrated power and timing analysis. It features 2 sensor channels and 2 oscilloscope channels, enabling simultaneous measurement of modulation signals and power envelopes. It supports 7 automatic timing measurements—rise/fall time, pulse width, PRI, PRF, duty cycle, and delay—as well as 5 automatic power measurements including peak and average power, top/base amplitude, and overshoot, all accessible via intuitive front-panel control.
With a dynamic range >45 dB and a minimum measurable pulse width of 20 ns, the 8991A offers amplitude/time markers for targeted analysis, advanced triggering to isolate glitches, and math functions for waveform evaluation. Sensor and video input ports support versatile setups across channels 1–4.
