The Keysight (Agilent) E1300A B-size VXI mainframe offers 9 slots, with 2 dedicated internally for the 2-slot E1326B multimeter and 3 A-size slots for modules like the E1324A RS-232C/422 terminal interface. It features a built-in command module identical to the E1306A, complete with interface.

The E1300A includes 256 K battery-backed RAM, expandable to 1 M, useful for downloaded drivers, runtime memory, and IBASIC programs or RAM disk use. For switch modules, 256 K is sufficient.
