The Keysight (Agilent) E1403B is a 1- or 2-slot VXI carrier module that enables the use of A- or B-size VXI or VME modules in C-size VXI mainframes. Featuring a fully buffered P1 connector, it offers slave-only operation and cannot be placed in Slot 0 or used with bus master modules. The standard version occupies one slot, with an option for a two-slot configuration (Option 002).
This adapter facilitates seamless integration of legacy A- or B-size modules into modern systems. Multiple adapters can be installed simultaneously in a C-size mainframe for expanded utility and system design flexibility.
