The Narda Nardalert S3 2270/01 is the mainframe of a body-worn personal RF radiation monitor. Paired with a plug-in sensor module, it evaluates exposure from 100 kHz to 100 GHz against a selected human safety standard. A colour LCD on top of the case can be read at a glance and shows how the exposure divides between components above and below 1 GHz.
Sensor modules are available for FCC, IEEE C95.1-2019, Safety Code 6 and ICNIRP; the mainframe does not operate without one. The NS3 option key adds data logging, alarm-level changes, the fibre-optic interface and history display.
