The Newport 8605-8C is a precision module integrating a Laser Diode Driver (0–500 mA) and an 8 W Thermo-Electric Cooler controller, engineered for Newport modular mainframes (8008, 8016, 9008, 9016). It ensures accurate diode driving with thermal stability, critical in DWDM, telecom, and advanced laser array applications. With GPIB (IEEE-488) and RS-232C digital interfaces, the unit offers robust external control and monitoring.
This module supports floating and common-anode diode packages, with automatic detection inside Newport mainframes. Its modularity allows seamless integration, expansion, or replacement within high-density laser system configurations.

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item to us in its original condition within 30 days of receipt.
Returned items should be unused and must be returned in original packaging with any enclosed documentation. We will issue a full refund on receipt, excluding the original delivery charge. Alternatively, if preferred, we will exchange the item.
